National Library Week, April 13 - 19, 2008

A Taste of Poughkeepsie

During National Library Week selected restaurants will be donating a portion of your bill to the Library. All you need do is present our coupon to the restaurant when you pay your bill. A list of participating restaurants is shown above. Click here to print a coupon.

Coupons are also available at Adriance at Bancroft Road, the Arlington Branch Library, and in the current issue of the library district's quarterly newsletter, the Rotunda.

A Note About Donations
During the Adriance renovation all donations should be taken to the Arlington Branch Library of the library district at 504 Haight Ave.


The Dates and Location of our next Big Sale have not been decided

Mystery Mondays - Book Discussiosn

The Friends, a nonprofit organization, began with very little, except a wonderful spirit of determination to help Adriance Memorial Library. The library district has grown, and so have we.

We hope that you take part in one or more of our activities, such as

• Supporting our Gigantic Annual Booksale in September
• Participating in our trip to the Yonkers Public Library and the Hudson River Museum
• Supporting the Poughkeepsie Public Library District
• Attending programs such as National Library Week
• Attending our author events
• Supporting our Annual Holiday Gift-Giving Booksale in December
